Flight Attendant

I came across a friend via facebook, coincidentally working in the same airline with one of my secondary schoolmate. And they worked together, and became bff.

Small world.
But that's not the point in this post today.
Was browsing through her photos and start to feel envious of her/them.

Ever since I met Vinc, one of my dream was withdrawn from my life.
No, I'm not blaming him for this, but just the priorities in life have changed.

I use to like travelling, alone. (Yes I'm talking about travelling, not being a flight attendant)
I know it is dangerous, but it thrives me.
And my previous job gave me the opportunity to do so.

Travelling alone needs some courage. And it made me a more independent person in whole. I learnt to manage my time, pack my own bag, be responsible of my well being, take care of my lunches and dinners, make sure I am feeling okay both physically and emotionally, be wary of strangers and learn some "social street smart".

So, like I say, I was browsing through Ms J's facebook and see the places she set her foot in, and became really envious. I started imagining myself one day, stepping into foreign lands, looking at the places in her photos.

Korea, Sweden, Paris, Italy, Prague, Mauritius, New Zeland, Austrialia and so on ... And I came up with a conclusion.........

I CAN'T FLY SO MANY PLACES UNLESS I'M A FLIGHT ATTENDANT!!

So, well, let that 'dream' be only a dream.
I will sit in my reality.

42 Days 8 Hours

..... TO OSAKA!
It's changing season by then, so I hope I get to see some autumn leaves in Kyoto ~

OK~ this photo is on the kua zhang side.
Maybe this one below looks better :

We don't really have an itinerary, but we will be heading down to Tokyo and Kyoto, and will be staying in Tokyo for 3 nights! Of cos, not to miss the Disneyland and Mt Fuji !!

So apart from Disneyland, the another thing i'd wanna do in Tokyo will be shopping! I often see how much things Xiaxue buys in Japan, and all of them are soooooo KAWAII !! <3

We'll be staying in Ikebukuro, just 15mins train ride to Tokyo station.

Moving on from Tokyo, we then head down to Osaka for the rest of our nights. Staying in Osaka station (hotel is 5 mins walk from Osaka) and will be spending some time in Kyoto for one two days.

There is a Gion street in Kyoto that tourist usually go there to see Geisha. I'm in. :)

And the last part of our Japan trip will be Osaka itself. I've booked Swissotel for the last two days of stay there, (it's in Namba area which have a direct back to airport) and we're gonna walk Osaka by foot . No la ... joking.

I haven't figure that out yet, but I'm sure the hotel staff can help me there.

I'm getting my camera ready, currently looking for flash light and some accessory!

So, stay tuned!

Last Company Trip; Shanghai

This will probably conclude my number of years in this company.

I have shared my knowledge as far as I can to the new team in Shanghai, and it marks the end of my career in Tetra Pak.

But anyway, I had some fun there and went around alone. This time round, I went to more places which I've never been to before. :D

The Bund
There are so many people in the evening!
In the mornings, locals like to gather and practice Qi Gong and Tai Chi here.

Those banks around The Bund just like Singapore River.

Here's another.
I love their buildings, I love their Skyline. Can't wait to bring hubby around Shanghai. We can visit many places and also travel out of Shanghai - to Hangzhou and Suzhou. I see them online and they have really pretty lakes!

But not too sure if it's well kept tho.

Here is one church I find.
All the buildings here seem to have a story behind them.

And of course, they have modern places / buildings too!

One of the lovely places I went: Tian Zi Fang.
Well, I've got more photos, but I haven't finish editing them yet so.... these are the limited ones till date.

Jing An Temple:
Like I said, I haven't finish editing most of the photos, so here you go to those ready ones...

More to come, i'll update this space again!

Travelling to Shanghai

I'm going to Shanghai tonight.
My first mid-night flight ! (Am excited <3)

It's a little pityful that baby can't come with me this time.
But I'm sure we will find time to travel to Shanghai one day.

This should be my last trip in this company.
I still remembr my previous trip there was to stay there for 3 weeks! I miss home, but I enjoyed the place there. I was still a long hair girl that time. Now, married, short bob (not exactly), and with my Canon HERE I COME ~~~

I will be giving some training for 5 days.
Kindly stressful, but since I'm well prepared, I'm sure I can do it!

Been Busy

I've been busy with life, busy with work.
My department will ceased its operation in September, so I'm busy keeping a lookout on available jobs and chances. Went to a few interviews and feel that those are not what I really want.

Sigh.
I will start on my pet grooming course and see what life takes me to. I will start my course in September, and it will take me roughly 6weeks to complete, so after November, lets see what I've got on hand. :)

I just came back from Indonesia, and the weather sucks too.
I'm so tired throughout this trip that I slept 2 full days last weekend. Niki tried all ways to wake me up, jumping around me, licking on my lips, whining, scratching my bed, digging into my blanket...... And pulling my hand using his nose. It all didn't work. I woke up twice, to feed them. Poor boys.

Okay la, I did spend an hour with them, bringing them out for a walk and showering Winter. That's all.

And for June, Boss just planned another trip for me to Shanghai, 7days, well, I'm glad to be able to make a trip down again, but felt kinda wasted that baby can't go along with me.

He said that we can visit there someday, but I'll doubt so.
The air tickets are bloody expensive =.=

Well, nevermind.

Philippines Trip 13-19Apr

13th April 2013.
Little Wimpy threw up early in the morning, so we jumped off the bed at 5.45am, and cleaned up the mess. Poor boy, he must be feeling unwell. :(
We got up and get prepared for all the stuff, and headed out. Right before I go, Wimpy stood with his hind legs and kissed me on my chin. I felt sad for a second and couldn’t bear to leave my two boys. But I know my family will take care of them well.
Now, little Nik was curling beside mum, seems to know that I will be away for awhile. He’s such a clever boy!
So we went off.
We reach the airport earlier than expected, and we went walking around before checking in our stuff. Weather was good, and we were so excited! Afterall, this is the first time we’re going off together and completing the travel together! :)
We had a quick bite at the airport before heading to the gates. Killiney.

~OFF WE GO~
3.5hrs of plane ride.
And we reach Philippines safely.

I was pretty impressed by the developments here. Initially when baby ask, "How is Philippines like?" I told him, maybe it's like Indonesia? They have forest everywhere, grass patches, poor traffic and bad air.

But the moment I step out of the Airport, I know i'm wrong.
Look at the tall buildings!! It's not losing to Raffles Place ok!!! It took us 30 mins to reach our hotel. And we both liked it at the first glance.

Seda Hotel. Open just 6 months ago.
Very kind people we met there, they really provide excellent service!
We went around town to get use to the surroundings, afterall we're gonna spend the next 6 days here. Everything look so Singapore actually.

We came to a pet shop selling Moo's nose as doggie chews! OMG~ I was horrified.

Our first meal in Philippines.

Some other things..

(The MC'D in Phili)
People here are generally smaller in build. They are shorter and small structured. I became so huge there. Vinc is a giant.

We visited their local supermarket.
They sell big carrots!!!

Our breakfast at the hotel, ......... for the next 6 days.
Yes we ate the same food everyday.

<3

I am glad that baby came along with me this time round. It was a pleasant trip as we have never thought we would travel to Philippines together....... and now we did! :D

Manila Bay
We visited this place called the Manila Bay. It's like Singapore's East Coast Park. They have rolls of restaurants along the sea and people came all the way here to watch sunsets. So did we. :)

*Baby & I*

We were pretty amazed by the speed of sun setting in just within 10 mins. So bright and cheerful now, and skies turned dark and gloomy next.

We dislike the weather like Philippines.
